Can you be allergic to eyelash extension adhesive?
Like all cosmetic products, there are some individuals who may be allergic to this particular adhesive. allergic reactions are extremely rare however and subside normally as soon as the extensions are removed. If you have extreme latex/ Band-aid allergies you may be at a higher risk of a reaction. If you have had an allergic reaction to any eyelash extensions before ( any swelling, itching, irration, puffyness on eye lids and under eye area) We recommend not to get eyelash extensions. If you do have a allergic reaction, you must seek medical attention and will need to remove the extensions as soon as possible.
If you are really concerned of a allergic reaction, We can provide a 24 hour Patch test.
Since we have no control if you are allergic, please understand that the labor, products was done and we do not refund money at all. Please concider the patch test if you are really concerned.
EYELASH EXTENSION GLUE – PATCH TEST:
The Adhesive used for eyelash extensions is a medical grade and is only to be applied to 5 natural
lashes, not the skin. It is very unlikely that clients will experience an allergic reaction,
however it is recommended that a small amount of glue is applied to the clients lashes 24
hours before a full set of extensions are carried out.
How do I take care of my eyelash extensions so they can last longer?
There are a few simple steps you can take to make sure you get the most of your eyelash extesions.
-
Do not wet them for 24 hours after application/ fills so that the adhesive cures properly
unless your extensions have been cured during the appointment by Nano Mist.
-
Do not use a steam room or sauna for the first 48 hours to allow the glue to cure.
-
Do not use a blow dryer on your eyelash extensions
-
Use only oil free products, especially makeup remover
-
Do not rub, tug, pull at them
-
Do not use a mechanical eyelash curler
-
If exposed to chlorine, rinse off gently with fresh water afterwards

-
Do not use facial masques that contain Alpha/ Beta Hydroxy, Vitamin C or any kind of acidic substance. Acids breaks down the adhesive

Most important do NOT avoid proper hygiene. Avoiding washing your eyelids/ eye area after the 24 hours can result in aneye infection whether wearing eyelash extensions or not.
Will eyelash extensions irritate my eyes?
No, once your eyelash extensions are applied, they will feel just like your normal lashes, you shouldn't feel any difference. The eyelash extensions are bonded to the actual lash not your eyelid skin, so it feels just like your normal lashes.
People with extremely sensitive eyes or sinus problems may get some watering and slight stinging at the end but subsides within seconds.
Are eyelash extensions safe for pregnant woman?
Yes, it's a non-invasive cosmetic procedure it is attached to the lash hair not touching the skin. Allergic reaction to the adhesive are very rare (1 in several thousand) and when do present, are easily treated. In saying this, we do not recommend pregnant woman who have never had eyelash extensions before test the procedure during their pregnacy.
The procedure also requires you to lay flat on your back for over one hour and requires that you lie quite still which can be hard if your at a later stage of the pregnacy.
